Easier importing

With the new wizard, importing both simple lists and more complex multi-category spreadsheets is even easier, with more control.
Any standard CSV or Excel file, for example containing contacts from an external CRM system, can be uploaded and the PROPtxt, ZOOMtxt, STARtxt software will automatically recognize the format, columns and headers and suggest matching data fields. These can also be chosen from a dropdown list.

Contacts can be imported into existing or new groups, and existing contacts will be automatically updated with new fields and profile data.

Benefits of the new module include:

• Simple three stage process for importing contact data from 10 to >10k
• Now directly accepts XLS (Excel) file types
• Automatically strips all erroneous characters from any given mobile number
• Ability to select in detail which fields to import and what content those fields represent
• Import into any custom fields specified
